Join us this Sunday at Calvary Chapel Waterford as we continue our verse-by-verse study through 1 Corinthians and examine one of the Bible's most discussed passages on headship, authority, and worship. In 1 Corinthians 11:2-16, Paul calls the church to look beyond cultural confusion and recover God's good design for men and women under the lordship of Jesus Christ. We'll see that biblical headship is never about superiority, but about sacrificial responsibility, loving leadership, and joyful submission to Christ. We'll also explore why Paul addressed head coverings in Corinth, how those symbols pointed to deeper spiritual realities, and why God's created order still matters today. Most importantly, we'll discover that every legitimate authority begins by submitting to Christ, the true Head of the church. In a culture increasingly blurring God's design, this passage reminds us that true freedom, unity, and flourishing are found not by resisting His order, but by gladly embracing it. We'd love for you to join us.
